This year Hilton HHonors is once again joining City of Hope in the fight against breast cancer by sponsoring Walk for Hope events across the nation. These fundraising walks support breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope, one of the world’s leading cancer research and treatment centers.

Since 2004, Hilton HHonors members have joined tens of thousands of people from around the country at Walk for Hope events. In 2009, Hilton HHonors is offering an array of fundraising incentive prizes to all Walk for Hope participants. Walkers who follow the prize eligibility guidelines and who donate or raise the required amount will receive Hilton HHonors bonus points and/or free-night stays, courtesy of Hilton HHonors.

To get started, register for an event! Then, tap into your network of friends, family and colleagues for support. And if you can’t attend an event, you can still participate as a Virtual Walker and qualify for the incentive prizes.

Please note: In order to be eligible for Hilton HHonors points, Walkers must pay the registration fee and donate or raise a minimum of US$25. In addition, Hilton HHonors bonus points will only be awarded to those participants who provide a valid Hilton HHonors account number within 30 days after the event for which they are registered. If they do not have a Hilton HHonors number at the time of registration and would like to be eligible for Hilton HHonors bonus points, they can call 800-266-7920 within 30 days after the event for which they are registered and someone will assist with the change. No changes will be accepted after 30 days following the event. All registered Walkers are eligible for the complimentary-night stays and airfare prizes if they raise the at least $1000 or are the highest fundraiser or team captain for the Walk for Hope they attend.

Prize winners are liable for applicable taxes.

Fundraising Incentive Prizes

All Walk participants will receive a T-shirt and a medal. Virtual Walkers will not receive a participant T-shirt or medal, but can qualify for incentive prizes by following the prize eligibility guidelines below and by donating or raising the required amount to receive bonus points and/or free-night stays, courtesy of Hilton HHonors.

Terms & Conditions
Complimentary night stay incentive prizes are valid at Category 0-6 hotels. Must register for at least one walk event and raise at least US$25 to qualify to be eligible for Hilton HHonors points and free night fundraising prizes. Please note that Hilton HHonors points will only be awarded to those who provide a valid Hilton HHonors account number within 30 days after the event for which you are registered. If you do not have your Hilton HHonors number at the time of registration and would like to be eligible for Hilton HHonors bonus points, you can call 800-266-7920 within 30 days after the event for which you are registered and someone will assist you. No changes will be accepted after 30 days following the event.

In order to be eligible to receive Hilton HHonors bonus points, the name on the Hilton HHonors account must match the name of the person registered for Walk for Hope. Maximum of 7,000 Hilton HHonors bonus points awarded per Hilton HHonors account. Registrants for multiple events will not qualify for additional Hilton HHonors points over the 7,000 point maximum. All donations including matching gifts must be received no later than 30 days after the event date in order to be eligible.  Points will not appear in member’s accounts until 6-10 weeks after the event date. All points and free night stay awards will be issued to participants by December 31, 2009. Hilton HHonors membership, earning of Points & Miles®, and redemption of points are subject to HHonors Terms and Conditions. Hotel stays are available for up to one year from the date of the award. See certificate details for further restrictions. Please refer to the free-night stay award letter for specific terms and conditions. Prizes are cumulative per event and non-transferable. No conversion to cash privilege. HHonors reserves the right to substitute prizes at any time.  National grand prize winners are liable for applicable taxes, and prizes may be subject to withholding.  Per IRS regulations, City of Hope will issue a 1099 form to prize winners of a prize valued at $600 or more.
